The concept of battling a Fluttershy is something of a misnomer; there is no species of PokΓ©mon that is more pacific. Apart from Astonish, Twister and Rage, the species learns no offensive combat moves at all. A wild Fluttershy will attempt to escape using Whirlwind or Hypnosis (it's standard starting move-set).
Wise Trainers use Fluttershy for its team support capabilities with Heal Bell and Present enabling healing and the Cute Charm special ability enabling pacification of wild PokΓ©mon and weakening of other Trainers' teams. This is best paired with a high-offence PokΓ©mon like a Big Mac or a Rainbow Dash who can use one of their high-end attacks to quickly take down a foe that has been Charmed or Hypnotised before they can recover.

Fluttershy has the ability cute charm which infatuates any pokemon trying to fight her. Also she has the ability cry which makes you lose a turn. She then uses YOURE GOING TO LOVE ME which deals massive damage. She is a very difficult ponymon to capture.

There are many Normal-type PokΓ©mon that rely on an unusual "gimmick" strategy.Fluttershy's would be her animal friends.
A fair number of Normal-type PokΓ©mon also have high stats defensively. she would rather defend that attack.

Yay: Use on Rainbow Dash and it will make her faint, use on anypony else and it will have a normal effect
