Been wanting to do another Batman for a while.The scan made his mouth area look strange for some reason. Not sure why. Must be from the resizing.

In the way that Nolan ruined the costume, Batman as a character (stupid, utterly stupid voice) and Bruce Wayne as a character, which Christian Bale did NOT fit into at all. In all his movies Batman seemed to be a secondary character, the bad guys being the main attraction. Any way, the new Batman actually respects the comics and takes the "The Dark Knight Returns" approach, with the right outfit and a good actor to play the older, darker, wiser and angrier Batman... even though he fucked up Daredevil.

It was a take different to the comics, to be sure. But that doesn't make it bad, nor ridiculous. At least not objectively so.
Batman was very much a main character, perhaps just not so much as the person in the suit, but more the idea and purpose and point of Batman, which grew and had an arc just as a person would.
Bruce Wayne took something of a backseat to that, but that wasn't simply due to a lack of character or personality, Bruce Wayne viewed himself secondary and unimportant when compared to Batman as the symbol they talk so much about in those movies. And while I know it sounds like a copout, Bruce Wayne's character was supposed to be unimportant and uninteresting, his personality was obsessive to the ideals of Batman.
I agree that the voice was a bit silly and it just got sillier with the sequels. I liked the suit, at least in Begins. And I'll say that I did like the last of Nolan's Batman movies quite a bit less than the previous two.
And what do we really know about Snyder's/Affleck's Batman? His suit looks more true to the comics and they're trying for a certain kind of tried and true Batman. I'd wait until the movie hits to make any judgments on whether it's better than Nolan's or not.
With all that said, all we're doing is sharing our own opinions, doesn't make anyone of us more right than the other. Sorry for rambling.

No problemo... I'm just saying that I've seen Affleck's latest work and it's quite impressing... apart from that, the movie's being made by the same people that produced Man Of Steel, which I believe was quite a good superhero movie. About how good it might be... take a look at the Arkham videogame series and see how Batman movies really should have been planned and made. Seeing that suit I can definitely say that we have some Bat-experts on the case, just like they have in Rocksteady Studios (the creators of the Arkham videogame series)... that's why I'm being so confident about this.

*It is well done. It reminds me of Michael Keat's performance.
