Hail friends! You are not the only ones who think Qui-Gon Jinn is the best Jedi! His doing what is right no matter what "rules" say is my favorite philosophy of any Jedi, more like a Gray Jedi. Even so Qui-Gon was in my opinion the best Jedi in terms of overall logical wisdom, helping others, and seeking justice. He is what every Jedi should aspire to be seek justice and protect freedom rather than many of the other Jedi's (especially the Council's) clouded, overly hesitant, and dogmatic view of "preserving order at all costs".
And everyone should know Qui-Gon taught Yoda and the others how to "Live On" in the Force! True Wisdom and mastery over the force greater than any other Jedi, even in death! That is Qui-Gon! He is the reason old Ben Kenobi aka Obi Wan says "If you strike me down I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine."
