Marvel's December previews are out, which means I can show you guys another cover, this time for issue #3. What's that you say? What happened to number 2? Turns out, since the book's shipping bi-weekly, that only the odd-numbered books will be included in monthly previews, so you'll just have to stay tuned for the others.

Ok, so what the heck is going on here!? Well, if you're like me, and you got into comics in the '90s and read Marvel's brilliant, surprising, out-of-continuity, bats(&*^ loco What If? series (and other insane storylines like "Capwolf"), then you'll know exactly who these guys are. If not, then let me introduce you to all these out-there characters.

We've got:

--Wolverine, Lord of the Vampires
--Captain America as a werewolf
--Punisher infested by the Venom symbiote
--Kraven the Hunter w/ Phoenix powers
--Carnage Cosmic (Silver Surfer's powers)
--Kingpin w/ the Infinity Gauntlet
--Doombot Sentinels
--the entire original Avengers, Hulk-ified
--Dracula as a cyborg

And yeah, Longshot has to fight ALL these guys in the issue, so you better believe it's worth checking out when it ships in December. Story's by Chris Hastings of Dr. McNinja fame, and when he pitched the cover idea, he said I should choose from all these characters and maybe select a few. I said, "man, with a list like this, we have to do them all!" Took forever, but here you go. Hope you enjoy it.
