There were many, but my main focus was on how much I cannot stand organized religion.  The blurring of the face looked to me, as if it were multiple faces, just like with religion, so many are multi-faced liars.  The heart symbolizes the fact that so many people run to these organizations in order to hide from life, and cannot think on their own.

Ahh that's great! I already liked it for it's aesthetic value though I usually stay as far away as I can from religious symbolism when I don't know what the artists intent was. Though your title somewhat revealed your thoughts. I am in total agreement with you, I cannot stand organized religion either in almost every from. The blurred face to me looked like it could be anyone, but is really nobody at the same time. I like how you used the heart. It indeed has people's hearts, it's a way of escapism. In some cases I can respect it, when people have gone through a lot, and find some serenity in religion, then I am happy for them that they have found their way to deal with the horrors they've been through. But personally, that would never work for me. Thank you for explaining I added your work to my "Featured" folder in my favorites. It's a very special folder for me, with only art that I love deeply!

Precisely, in some instances I can respect them, as long as they don't try to shove it in my face.  I consider myself a "spiritual person" but not in any christian way.  I believe in inner spirituality, being connected to the universe and nature.  No, I am not a hippy, lol...but I do believe in energy and karma.

My partner and I are exactly the same. Spirituality in our minds is something that should come from within yourself. Form through your own perception. 
The universe, nature and karma thing is definitely something we often mention as well. We're happy to leave what can't be explained unexplained. Does that make sense? 

I think we could get along well I've watched you back and will make sure to leave a comment every now and then whenever you upload something new  
Personally I am still learning how to properly use the means to make art. I'm not yet at the point where I can easily put an idea into art. For now, most of my art if not all of it, is made to practice

I think so too!  Glad we "met" today... I am still trying to remember how to get my way around DA.  It is a complicated and odd interface, just as I recall.  Lol.  But it's coming back.
