     Everything was so peaceful around me. I was sipping on coffee and reading a Pokémon book when I heard my name being called from a distinct male voice. Ash.

     "I picked out a few horror movies and I thought maybe we could watch them tonight. I have a few game systems we could play, too. We could do whatever you want too, though. I'm not picky. Oh, and my mom's ordering pizza," he said blushing a bit and talking fast. He really was nervous about this. I smiled and looked him in the eyes.
     "That sounds great. I brought a few things with me too," I said and he smiled back at me. He really seemed worried. That was so cute.
     "Awesome! We can compare what we have and trade and stuff! I have Pokémon Heart Gold and I know how to trade with you if you have it too," he ranted excitedly. I smiled and let out a chuckle.
     "Yeah, I have Pokémon Soul Silver so we could trade," I smiled and he grinned wider. I guess none of his other friends were into this like he was.
     "No way! Perfect! We could battle and see who wins, too! I bet I'm gonna win!" he said teasingly. I laughed and playfully punched his shoulder.
     "In your dreams! I can kick your ass any day!" I said and he laughed with me. We entered his house, still laughing and his mother walked in. She smiled and greeted us warmly.
     "Oh so you're the infamous Gary, Ash keeps gushing about all the time?" she said and Ash and I both blushed.
     "MOM!" Ash said to her embarrassedly, blushing furiously and glaring at his mom.
     "Oh, I'm sorry! Please, feel at home. Pizza should be here in a half hour so you guys can hang out in Ash's room until then," she said and Ash grabbed my hand leading me up the stairs. I looked back at Ash's mom waving the hand Ash wasn't holding, back to her with an apologetic grin across my features. She smiled and chuckled with knowing and Ash and me walked into his room.  His room was baby blue with a bright yellow bedspread and a few Pokémon plushies. He had a flat screen TV and an XBOX 360 and Play Station attached to it. A desk was tucked in the corner with some DS games and binders. A few Pokémon balls were scattered all over the room and Pikachu was sitting on his bed. He was still holding my hand and neither of us really minded.
     "Wow dude your room is awesome," I said, casually letting go of his hand and walking around to get a better look. He smiled sheepishly and grabbed a few movies from a pile near his XBOX 360.
     "Thanks, oh and I apologize for my mom. She says some pretty embarrassing stuff so don't take any of it personally," he said and blushed.
