With all the rain and snow we had this year in California, I was just curious as to whether this photo was taken middle or late summer. The Sequoia National Forest and Park had snow covered peaks for a long time. A lot of the southern Sierra Nevada mountains were closed to travelers due to a late runoff and high snow pack. Was neat to see so much snow in July up near Yosemite. Bet the falls and rivers were amazing this year.

ah I see, yes indeed I had heard about the late melting of snow in California.

Yeah, the river was going some and the falls were spectacular, so I guess I was lucky to see them with so much water
