A little "what if"/Alternate Universe scenario I might make more of. What if certain Gym leaders trained a different pokemon type?In this specific case, a Normal-type centered Elesa. She'd still be the same model/gym leader, but I'd believe she wouldn't be too eccentric. Her look is based of the 5th gen's female clerks, as they usually used normal-type pokemon.

I suppose it's for the same reason you don't see many redesigns of pre-existing gym leaders to begin with, people just like the original designs and it's hard to change the designs in any meaningful way.
