Commentary:
So the whole idea behind this cold opening was one I came up with when thinking of an idea for a Rio movie (not that it's ever gonna happen, I was just trying to think of something visually cool) that it'd be fun for either a cold opening or a last scene to have her hunt a studio's big horror franchise character. When trying to figure out a good opening for the pilot I thought "OH! I should use it here!" and went with an idea of her hunting 'Jason' since I figured the comic could be cute and launch on Friday the 13th.... the actual Elijah Murtree who will be in the comics looks very little like Jason (his concept art is in one of my deviations)

So does the fake Elijah thing make sense? It's sorta referencing Friday the 13th part 5 (I think, they're all sorta a blur to me) where a guy dressed in a very elborate Jason costume (complete with rotted head mask, but yet he got a hocky mask with a different set of markings on it) kills kids and at the very end it's implied the boy who survived would become Jason's next replacement (which was dropped in the next movie as he's still a hero).... I just like to think an unknown zombie might muscle in on another's turf to become a feared serial killer, and that to Rio this is a completely normal thing.

For you car buffs: I have no clue what Rio's car is.... it's kinda based of a 'Joker' Hot Wheels I got called 'Evil Twin' but with a couple changes.

For you gun buffs: her gun is a Nerf Maverick, also with changes.
