My tribute to the late Chester Bennington. Like many young kids on the social fringes of the late 90's and early 2000's, I was drawn to Link in Park. Listening to them, hearing Chester wall his heart out somehow made things more tolerable. The music soothed. But now, Chester took his own life. For anyone who's ever been in that dark place, they can tell you it's not a place you would condemn anyone to go. Some of us escape that darkness. Some of us, sadly, do not.

Whatever Chester's reasons were for doing what he did, I can only offer this to him wherever he is: May you find the peace in death you could not find in life.
