A watcher of mine, was unable to view a recent deviation because it was mature content. This says to me that perhaps I should submit more work with a less "risqué" label...or rather work more accessible to everybody. I appreciate the views and watches and favorites from everybody and anybody, so I want to attract as many as possible.Primum Non Nocere.
That said, in respect to my previously mentioned watcher, I post this piece; a self portrait of sorts. No doubt there are some who have seen my work that have the impression I'm an impish pig. I suppose if the shoe fits...

Something about this reminds me of growing up in LA. There was a lot of art EVERYWHERE. There is something very LA folksy about this, and that kind of makes me warm and fuzzy, no joke. The murals painted on walls, the Mercado's. There's something charming about it being 'impish' yet colorful and straight forward. Like you could recognize it from two blocks away or twenty years in the past at first glance.

Glad you like it. I like to use cartoons; the absurdities and bright colors
take me back to a happier time as well. This rather exaggerated self portrait
was in response mainly to a friend's playfully made joke upon seeing one of my
toon pinups. "You are such a Pig," she giggled. So...I ran with it. I'm glad it reminds
you of home. Never been to LA myself, but if the street art is as good as you say,
I might have to make that pilgrimage one day; get that warm fuzzy feeling, too.
