Doc, you are still going great guns. I stoipped over to leave a note that I checked back at my folders. The dA rel;ated images include a by-line, so there should be no problem in mentioning my sources; but 90% of my images come from other sites, as I said earlier.

This is gorgeous I love how the character is imprisoned (either as a victim or the transformation to the monster behind her). Excellent detail and shading

Beautifully drawn! I really like the detail and style of the girl, the ivy and the trees. (She is drawn the way I'd want to see my characters.)

Exactly... vampires do not sparkle in the sunlight!!! They burn and catch on fire!

At least your vampire doesn't sparkle in the sunlight! Oy! What was that woman thinking?

I agree with Jeff, this is one of your best yet. Nailed the femininity of the girl. I think the ghoul could use more definition, though. It lacks presence at the moment.

I agree about the ghoul.... just didn't want to over-do it and convinced myself that it would 'work better with color'. Then again, in b/w he's almost etheral being so light. Conundrum! I wonder what else I might have done with him (before going to color)...

Hey Jeff - Thank you for the kind words. Yeah, I'm finally getting bolder with black, eh? Here it allowed me to simplify and then not get too extravagent with the shading while still getting the same point across. Should I color it too...?

Very, cool. Despite the vampire theme (which I just don't get the fascination with).

You said it!
Oh for the days when vampires were simply evil, undead, blood-sucking monsters who were not suitable for being romantically involved with!
