Description
A revamp of an old MOC series I made a few years ago called the Steel Dragon, a dragon based mech designed as an anti-kaiju weapon.

The Stahl Drachen in my mind is a test bed and a predecessor to the mightier and more powerful Mechagodzilla.
The Stahl Drachen was constructed by Czar-Panzer Mechanics, under contract to the Japanese Defense Force, to counter the growing threat of kaiju
After their trial successes with the SDR series, the corporation began producing mechs over 50 foot tall, however only in limited numbers of 2 or 3 per model.
The Stahl Drachen is the company's first anti-kaiju mech or AKM.
The number indicates it is the 33rd mech design classified under the category by the United Nations Defense Force.

The Stahl Drachen is in fact a 2 part mech, with a massive flying vehicle that can attach and detach from its back. The craft, called the Drachenhammer, is where the crew sits and pilots the whole mech, but only when the two are connected.

The head can only be positioned up and down, with no side to side articulation.
This is due to the massive output energy weapon mounted within the mech's throat.
The manufacturers feared that side to side articulation would weaken the structure of the cannon walls, and so designed it with its limited motion.
Aside from the energy weapon in its mouth, it is also equipped with a left arm mounted double auto-cannon, as well as a cannon mounted on the Drachenhammer for when the mech is flying. Its right arm is armed with a close range blade that when stabbed into an opponent releases a massive charge of electricity. The blade also has sensors that can offer a close-up look at the monster for study and research later.
