sorry but i disagree. i think every version before the new 52 is perfect. she's always been eye candy-but shes always had heart. but now most of her wonderful personality is gone and she's been reduced to just eye-candy. when before, there was so much more to her character.
look im not trying to start a fight. if anyone called the preboot kory a whore i would be the first to jump to her defense. but to someone who has only known her character from red hood and the outlaws, i could not blame them if they thought that was all she was. and then i would try to convince them to read an older title so they could experience the real koriandr.

But I'm a huge fan of original Kory AND New 52 Kory. If you think about, they changed her no more than they did in the cartoon, they just changed different aspects.
The cartoon focused on her naivitey and innocence, as well as her kindness.
While they new 52 focuses on her sexuality, her power, and her blood lust. Yes in all the Teen Titans comics they TALKED about how powerful she was, but it hardly ever came into play.

There are changes that annoy me, yes. Like the way the butchered Tamaranean culture so "sex has nothing to do with love and I don't care about anything."
but you know what?? The cartoon totally butchered her culture too, they turned it into nothing more than a running gag when originally it added so much depth to her character.
Also New 52 has currently slept with one person (whom she is currently dating) and kissed one other to exchange information.
How is that a whore?

cant remember the exact panel, but at one point she said to jason that he was the only person she has known as "just a friend".
shes always had a skimpy costume, cant deny that, but her new suit... she may as well be wearing nothing. but its just not the costume, its how she wears it. in the past, yes she was wearing hardly anything, but she wasn't constantly posing. now in most panels she's arching her back or twisting in a sexual//extremely uncomfortable looking/ pose. and its not like shes trying to pose for roy, shes posing for the readers.
*the cartoon was made for a younger audience, so understandably they had to tone down a few things*

i hate the new starfire - you like her. okay. sorry but i dont want to star ranting about it...

Ok but my main point is that there is no such thing as a slut. There are women that aren't ashamed about enjoying sex, which is not a crime. Slut, whore, skank, ect. are all sexist concepts. There's nothing wrong with a women dressing the way she wants and fucking whoever she wants.

Besides, there are tons of characters that are constantly drawn in poses like that. Is Wonder Woman a slut???

I like the new 52 Starfire, yes there are changes that they made to her that bug me but she's an amazing character in her own right. She's fearsome, powerful, and will not accept anyone's pity.
