Hello! As I said with my last post this was is the final design of the logo for my game/tabletop campaign. I like how it came out. In this post I also will be sharing the lore/backstory for the world. The zombies and cult members from previous posts are in this world(I will be making a collection for those) Well lets get on with the lore. Have a good day!

Prologue: As we know the first nuclear bombs were dropped in Hiroshima and Nagasaki by the US. This was the first use of these bombs. After this other countries develop their nuclear arsenal. Primarily during the cold war. But what if these weapons of mass destruction were created much earlier? What if they were made during the end of World War I and the beginning of the 20s.

*During World War I (1917) an Us Platoon found an ancient tomb by Marne(Second Battle of Marne), revealed by the war. Under this tomb lay a massive green crystal (5ft) The platoon took this back to the United States and government scientists proceeded to ran experiments on the crystal. These experiments rolled over to the 1920s when scientists found an immense power that was able to advance their technology. It also was a powerful energy source allowing the government to advance its technology 20 years in the future with it still being in the 1920s. The Government had contractors mass produces different weapons and technology with the power of this magical crystal. New technology was made for the public and government alike. The Great depression did hit America but because of its advanced technology, it did not affect the country as much as in regular history. The U.S was able to sustain itself with its revolutionary energy source and provide many with jobs due to the constant creation of technology. During World War 2 the US was able to launch its nukes on Germany, Italy, and Japan. Causing a swift end to the war. Before this, the U.S had already launched many nukes in the Nevada desert. They fully knew what they were doing or so they thought. What the government didn't notice was the nukes powered by the crystals had damaged Nevada’s environment(transforming it). This happened again in Germany, Italy, and Japan. The next events are similar to the Cold War except the Cold War begins earlier. The top countries start creating many nukes and testing them (US, Russia, Britain). (I also want to note that Russia and other countries had found crystals in their country and tested many weapons that used the crystal's energy). So many weapons that the world started to feel the effects of radiation. But because this radiation came from crystals with unknown properties it began to cause a sickness that was quickly killing people. The Top governments began to make a cure but this cure was rushed and used elements of the crystal. This cure only made things worse with people getting sick and becoming zombies who mutated/evolved and created different species of zombies. The cure had become a virus that soon spreaded and created chaos. To add to this chaos the people who had died from the radiation became undead monsters/creatures. The world soon fell apart with countries falling and independent settlements sprouting all across the world. The events that led to humanity's downfall, and the emergence of zombies are known as The Fall. The 50s was a halt to progress and a decade of survival. Now the world is in ruins with a world once filled with humans now filled with monsters and ghastly creatures.
Simple explanation (for players)
Due to tons of nuclear testing by countries tons of unique radiation poured into the atmosphere. This caused humans to get sick and eventually die. They later will appear as ghastly monsters during “The Fall”. A cure was made but this only made things worse as the cure made people sick and transformed into zombies. This virus soon spread and destroyed the world. With the radiation, the zombies mutated and became different species. Countries have fallen and many settlements across the globe have been made, some good and some bad. Many have considered this The Fall. In this campaign, the players will find try to find the origin of this cure, the backstory of the Fall, and how to create a new society.
