It's been two months since Phoenix, Apollo, Athena, Klavier, and the Judge were summoned to Zootopia. And they've all grown used to life in the animal utopia. But the peace is ultimately shattered when Nick's friend, Flash Slothington, is charged with the murder of his girlfriend, who also happens to be the niece of Zootopia's mayor: Pamela Swinton. Athena steps in to defend Flash in court and save him from a bloodthirsty plan for revenge.
