We're long overdue for something like this to be honest; we already had a taste of Donkey Kong CountryΒ exclusives in Mario Kart Wii (Funky Kong and all his swag!), so having more of them and the WarioWare, Inc.Β cast would be an incredible roster for both Mario Kart and Mario Party!

This might explain why Ashley or any Wario ware characters won't show up in something as simple as Mario Party.

It may seem like a weak excuse, but how else can you explain why Mario Kart 8 has dlc based on other Nintendo franchises and not once made a direct reference to the Wario ware series in this or any of the past spin off games (not counting the wario bike)?
