This is proof that I grew up a Whovian.
As a child growing up in the US, I got my dose of Doctor Who daily on PBS here in NC every afternoon at around 5:30 and a "movie" version of it on weekends when they showed all the past weeks episodes at one time without interruptions.

I didn't have access to Dapol toys or really any other Doctor Who toys here in the US. I had to make my own.

Here is the proof. I made this sometime in the late 70's or early 80's. I made it out of my building blocks - not legos. I had these blocks before I had legos. I typed out the words on an old typewriter and stuck them on with scotch tape. I didn't know exactly what the phone panel said so I just put what I thought when I was 7-8 years old. I used to play with this and used my GI Joe figures with it.

Now you know that I have been a Whovian for a very long time and am not ashamed to say so.
