Description

Yes, I actually went to the BBC [British Broadcasting Corporation] today with my sister Katrina located in Langham Place in London.

We actually did not plan to visit the place, we just stumbled apon it whilst enjoying a nice [if someone hot] day out in London that's all, and we just came across it after I spotted it in the distance !.

We did look inside the building, only by going into the main entrance you see behind me underneath the BBC logo, and immediately, we was greeted by a very familiar site - the Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi Police Public Call Box prop of the Tardis from modern Doctor Who used by their 11th and 12th Doctor's between 2010 and 2017. Sadly, we could not take a photograph of the Tardis, as a security guard told me sister we wasn't allowed too, even thou no signs said we couldn't, but it's ok, it was just a joy to behold, and I knew it was there because I've seen pictures and Video's of it in the building . . the only downside was it's lamp on the roof is missing !.

Here's a photograph of it inside the building thou www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Location…

We also spotted a Time War Dalek prop as well, but it was futher away down a corridor and I don't think we was allowed to go down that area as I think it's for BBC staff members only.

And no, we sadly didn't see any famous faces from Doctor Who or any other BBC TV series you can possibly name.

I've always wanted to visit the place, and now I have, so Β  Β

Nice!

I remember doing a work-experience placement at the BBC offices in Llandaf in Cardiff, juts after I had graduated from university, It was early 2005 and a new series of Doctor Who was imminent, but there was a mass of secrecy about it in the building. However, I walked into an editing suite and the first sound I heard was the TARDID dematerialising! Β

However, I've never been to either of the BBC studios in London.

Wow-you were at the BBC HQ? Niiice!

I'd have loved to see the Police Box Prop. It's my favourite out of all the TARDIS props in Doctor Who.

Yes, I did-I love that Tardis because of the Shade of Blue, and the St John's Ambulance sign.
