NightDancer is the female version of NightRunner . She is very close to the original in that she shares the same social awkwardness that is actually very atypical of Nyrians. Nyrians are natural and very powerful telepaths and so should be able to better anticipate the emotions, reactions, and responses of others, except other skilled telepaths or those skilled in psychic combat, who may hide their thoughts.

Both Night Runner and Night Dancer are working their way over that hump, with help from friends.
