Description (Second try. Uploaded the wrong version last time.)

Map of Altazia, Shivan Archipelago and northern Miasina... now with geographical information! I eventually plan to repost the MoL-verse world map in this style, but for now this and the map of Miasina will have to do.

Do you have a map key for Altazia?  the coloring compared to that of Miasina seems to not match.  I'm guessing the dark on Altazia is forest rather than jungle, and that the lighter green is cultivated lands if that follows the same convention as Miasina.

Yes, I used the same color for all forests, jungles included. The lighter green in Altazia is cultivated land, yes - places where forests have been cut down or thinned, and are mostly plains and hills. The lighter green in Xlotic/Miasina is where the land is arid but not really a desert. That's mostly where humans live, since the interior is too dry to support habitation.

So the map key for Altazia would be:

White: Snow-capped mountains. Largely lifeless.

Dark Brown: High mountains. No permanent human presence.

Light Brown: Mountains. May contain human settlements, but sparsely populated and often recently colonized. Lots of remaining wilderness and monsters.

Dark Green: Forested area. Great Northern Forest in the story. Areas close to light green are being exploited but mostly not inhabited.

Light Green: Plains and low hills. Inhabited and cultivated. Most truly dangerous monsters eliminated or pacified in some manner.

And the one for Miasina/Xlotic would be the same, except for:

Pale Green: Arid plains and hills. Same as light green in Altazia, but dryer and hotter, and generally less suitable for agriculture.

Sand Yellow: Waterless desert with no siginificant human settlements.

Thanks for the explanation, I love the story and looking more into the accompanying lore stuff like this fascinates me.  Keep up the awesome work!
