It's been forever since the last time I drew this guy.LOOKING NICE AND MANLY THAR, CHOU! I like his flowery wings
Doodled at school, colored at home w/ watercolors, edited a bit on PhotoImpact.
OH MY GOD, I LOVE PAINTING ON A WATERCOLOR PAPER haha
No harsh critique plz, this was a real quickie.

O super pretty work again~ The paper really gives nice different textures.
Especially the black ink on his hair is a really nice effect, it also blends all prettily and smoothly.

The thing that I like about these characters is that you can practically draw them anyway you want 8D The story where they're in takes place around the span of 3 years, and all of them change hair and clothing styles atleast once, then there's flashbacks if you want to draw kiddie charas etc etc haha

Watercolour paper really allows for much brighter colour to show. I'd highly recommend you add it to the top of your list of things; after all, it can only help make your works look that much better.

Well, if you'd like a little critique.
I like the brightness of the colours, especially for watercolours. The composition and execution are alright, not bad. I can't say negative things about it, but only that the work could maybe be improved with a little less miscellaneous background and more emphasis on the subject at hand.
Go go go make more stuff for me to comment on, haha.

haha I know that, most of the time I just don't take painting seriously enough. And I have watercolor paper. On, like, size A3, which is way too big for me. I only use A5 paper and I'm way too lazy to cut pieces from it haha.
But seriously, I'd appreciate it if you commented the picture, not my choice of paper :3

Haha, it's not that I wanted critique with 'critique discouraged' and all, but thanks. I just meant that keep the comments concerning the pic like you did now. I like to hear what I did right, my own eyes can pretty much sort out the mistakes later.

Yep, I did this on a watercolor paper. Usually I just paint on copy paper or some sort of thick paper, so this was a real treasure haha.

ah well at least in my opinion paper seems to make a lot difference, this one has very strong and sharp colors too, and you can see the paper texture too, it looks great, For a quickie, this one's quite awesome you know. I love how bg looks like silkpaper bits.

I only found one page of my A5 watercolorpaper and I used it on this ;___; please buy me more of that paper, I don't need no sub! yeehaw

well how about...short subscription and more of that paper? You should come along with me though and show me what kinda paper it is, I'm not very good in judging watercolorpaper qualities or such.
