Description

Cosette leisurely walked through town, her coatala Grove close behind. Occasionally the purple wyngling would glance over her shoulder to make sure he was still there, knowing he liked to wander off sometimes. Unfortunately he'd done just that and was now lazily walking toward a purple bipedal wyngro with fabric samples. Cosette frantically looked around for the leaf-patterned coat of her pet, having a little but of difficulty looking through all the legs in her way. As soon as her eyes found him, Cosette began to move through the crowd, muttering quiet apologies. "Grove!" She called as soon as he decided that this biped's feet were a good resting place. "Oh goodness I'm so sorry!" Cosette said to the wyngro. "This lazy little guy likes to wander..." Cosette said, tugging on one of Grove's arms in an attempt to heave him off of the stranger's feet. The biped chuckled and shifted once her feet were free. "Ah, it's alright darlin'!" She said with an accent that caught Cosette's ears. She opened her mouth to ask where she was from when the fabrics caught her eye. "Oh wow!" She gasped, running a paw over one of the pretty spotted fabrics. "These are lovely!" She said, tail wagging excitedly. Before she could ask any questions, the sight of Grove's tail disappearing in the crowd caught her eye. "Oh for the love of Chi..." She muttered. "I'm really sorry miss, I can't stick around. Your fabrics are wonderful!" She said as she ran after the mellow coatala.

Several hours passed before Cosette and Grove returned to the nook, now accompanied by a small bag of multicolored beads that Cosette intended to create a mosaic with. Before she could reach her bed, Cosette spotted the same purple biped she'd run into earlier that day. Excited, Cosette set the bag on the ground so she could speak. "It's you again!" She exclaimed, beaming. This time the wyngro wore a blue scarf, no doubt made from the same fabric Cosette had seen earlier. "Oh your scarf is lovely!" She said, glancing at Grove as he made a small noise, announcing that he was going to their bed. "Thanks dear! Did ya want it? Your eyes were lightin' up like Lumibugs when ya saw this earlier." The kind stranger asked. Cosette beamed and her heart soared. "Oh goodness... It really is wonderful... But I really wouldn't want to just take it from you... I'll tell you what! I'll trade you for it!" She said, quickly skipping to her bed. She climbed up to her top bunk and began to rifle through the neat and tidy cubbies. Eventually she pulled out a pink string friendship bracelet. "Will this be okay? It's the only one I have finished." Cosette said, descending from the bunk. "That's jus' fine!" She said, removing the scarf from around her neck. The two exchanged accessories and sat down, beginning to converse happily.
