I've been planning this for a while and i fiiiiiiinally just got around to doing this!!
i feel terrible but I just haven't been able to connect with bird's runeboo... so this is basically my excuse to have him go missing as well as kickstart the next part of bird's plot!

AAAANYWHO
bird really enjoys going on walks, especially at night! he loves stargazing, the sounds, even the chill the night brings. so on a night like any other he took marble soda and his runeboo poffin out for a walk! unfortunately they were ambushed by a wild coatala, who proceeded to chase poffin off into the woods. unable to pursue the coatala very far in his condition, bird returned home to tell harlie what had happened. the next morning he intended to go looking for his lost runeboo as soon as he was able.
