It had been only the evening before that huritau had hatched, the addition making his arrival to add another member to the small family. Already he had shown himself to be quiet the biter despite having no teeth. He would bite in the furniture, the rugs, his brothers or anyone that he happens to meet when they were out. Finding that this might be a problem further down the line when and if he grew teeth, baste started brainstorming some way to keep him from nibbling on other. Remembering back to the puckoo she made as a wyngling, she got the idea of making a chew toy out of clothes that were to be thrown away. A couple of hours after she had been out and gotten clothes from a wyngro who was throwing them out, baste had made a tight, thought but short rope out of some of the clothes. Feeling inspired, she also had made a hood with teeth, finding it to fit the bitey wyngling. She presented the chew toy to huritau, distracting him from nibbling at one of his brother, yet the young wyngling didn't seem to have any hesitations with starting to nom on the new thing. While he were distracted, she put the hood on him, tying the knot over his right shoulder and watched his reaction. huritau was unsure what to make of the strange hood with little, soft teeth on it, his ears still caught inside the hood. He shook his head, his ears popping out of the decently sized holes and he pushed the hood back to not block his sight. He sat for a moment, a smile spreading and his eyes wide as he suddenly stuffed his new object of nomming into the front of the hood and reached his paws up to his mommy, making happy lil baby noises as well, quite pleased with the toy and the hoodie
