This time of year makes me so so so tired.
I wanna state - before people hate on Runi for being so insistent - that she prolly knows a whole lot more about the family dynamics/issues than the reader at this point. Nero's relationship with his dad was shown to be strained even before the banishment.

I see where Runi is coming from, right or wrong. Her whole world is different, and all she wants is for her brother to recognize the fact that this isn't all just some big adventure. They're far from home, they don't have a herd, and she just wants Nero to recognize how bad he screwed up. Yes, he was brave, but he has to at least give his sire credit for the fact that in doing so, he put himself in danger. That had to have been TERRIFYING to watch as a parent. A little anger is forgivable. At least your father didn't give you SCARS, Nero. The worst he's done is been worried about his son and placed too high of expectations on his shoulders. My own mother was terribly emotionally abusive to me growing up. I understand now that it was because she was young when she had me and she has since been able to be a better parent to my younger siblings. I don't necessarily forgive her, but we are on okay terms and I know I would be destroyed if I couldn't talk to her ever again. Even when we do fight, I will still say I miss her.
If Nero really, truly hated his father because of some past abuse he wouldn't have cared about his father's opinion of him earlier in the comic. Nero is hot headed, stubborn, and very full of himself. Good that his sister is challenging him, forcing him to grow, or he'd be a dumb jock for the entirety of the comic and never develop as a character lol
