If there was one feeling Alderwen hated experiencing the most, and there was an exhaustive list of feelings he hated feeling, it was the feeling of being useless.

And yet, more and more as the days turned into weeks, that’s what he found himself feeling. Completely and totally useless. It wasn’t like he chose it; he never got to consent to any of the mental tortures his mind afflicted him with. But for so long he had a destination, a goal to look forward to. Mhor had finally settled into their new home in the north. The journey was over.

He never considered what would happen after.

Alderwen is having a... rough time settling into his new home. For all his life he's never really had a home, as he was always on the move with the small Mhorian band. Now that they've finally settled in, he can't really see this as a new start, only as an end to everything he's ever known. Little does he know his journey has only just begun! And maybe one day, he'll see that his real home is all the friends he's made along the way c':

This is my first real attempt at a background... and I'm happy with it! I plan to include many auroras in the future, so I thought my first piece for the group would be a good place to look back on for improvement. I can't wait to start my own journey with everyone and this group!
