yes it does look confusing i know
but she requested something fantasy epic, or something along those line, using all her original characters

Awesome stuff man... I've loving your work with the angry hoarde behind them. Using the monochrome background's a nice touch as well as it really makes the characters in the front stand out.
Onto crit, your poseing and anatomy are improving everytime I look at another one of your pieces. There's something bugging me about the hand of the blonde second from left. I dunno, it just looks a bit, elongated perhaps? I realise that particular positioning should be about right (tried it out myself) but... for some reason it's just not gelling for me. Maybe it woud have worked better to have her hand more forward on her face. It would have obscured her a bit more but might save the awkward angle. He hair also seems a little high to my eyes as well, but then again... people did wear beehives
The girl second from right, the pose is actually good but, she's not quite interfacing with that... whatever it is she's sitting on. I can't help but think maybe some shadow underneath her may have made her look a little more connected, right now she looks like she's about to slide off.
The redhead next to her with the fire has come up brilliantly, but her pose seems somewhat wooden compared to the others. She looks like the firey sort, I would have been tempted to give her a more domineering pose... think the sort of pose you'd expect someone to take if they've just shot a tiger and are standing over the corpse.
Swinging back to layout now, one thing I've noticed about your mulit-character pics is that you seem to lay out the elements quite symetrically. I think it'd be cool if you moved the visual weight around a bit, maybe group some characters closer together or further apart depending on the personalities or whatever.
All that said: your muscle toning is excellent and your lighting is still epic. You've really picked up a dark, gloomy atmosphere with this one as well, makes it all feel very threatening. You've also done a great job of picking up the personalities of each character in their expressions and facial structure. Some harder edged, others softer. Overall, brilliant stuff man.

cheers mate, glad ya like it. Yeah the hoarde was something i enjoyed doing, and yes keeping them all one colour was intentional aswell so as to not take too much away from the foreground.
When it comes to anatomy I don't really use references which is a big fault on my part. And yes the blond girl's hand is looks rather claw like, this wasn't intentional i just didn't pick it up, as you know I usually look at the image as a whole and people usually don't take the time to carefully look at stuff like that, but still poor observation on my part.
I agree the girl second from the right needed some cast shadow on what shes sitting on, its either that or my perspective values on her and what shes sitting on are off, they should be the same value.
As for the girl on the right, as much as I wanted her to stand out, I didn't want her taking too much from the main focus, which is the middle girl. Although I could've added some compositional elements to this to draw the eye around, but i didnt think about that until it was too late.
Yeah I find a symmetrical layout works well for multi-characters especially for this one, thats because they're sort of the centre piece, story, and thats what this pic is all about. I could have spread each one out to midground and foreground but i felt the characters were the important part here and felt that each were equally important, more so than the bg.
Overall I was happy how it turned out, although the characters still felt a bit anime-ish to me, but thats just me. I may need to improve on some aspect of my drawing to remove that taste, but i would like to improve my story telling.
Again cheers champ, always nice hearing from you
