Patience and a lot of layering XD If you don't layer the colors, it comes out unfinished and scratchy looking. That's why it takes a while to color using pencils~

Do you color like a scribbling motion, or in circles? I know it sounds weird, I'm just wondering so I can get better at using them, haha. I don't want to copy your style, just looking for pointers.

You definitely have the skill for coloring. I do more of a scribble motion as opposed to circles, but I know a lot of artists use that. In this pic, dogdemonsrock5.deviantart.com/… , I used the circular motion to give the jacket texture because it's soft/fuzzy. For you, I highly recommend more layers. A lot of people are afraid to do too many layers in fear of making their work too dark or making the colors off, but you can always go darker and you'd be surprised how intense the layers make the color. Combine layers of different colors for affects too. It's always good to practice different mixtures of color
