Description
A photo I took in the Slot Canyons in Arizona on the Utah border. Over time, water cut out these "slots" through the rock and formed all these textured lines in the surface which makes an amazing subject for a photo. This one will be in my new show opening in Chicago on August 5th at the High Risk Gallery. It should be a awsome night; hope you can be there! [link]Related content

the two hotspots prevent this from being one of the best ever photos I have ever seen.
At any rate, it is one of the most beautiful.

The bluish tones in the hotspots are distracting; however, I don't believe you can mend that with the burn tool - just another exposure.
It's not that bad, again, I like it very much - but it is near perfect, and one tends (at least I do) to nitpick the most when the photos are better

my cousin photographed that place once, it was a b/w.. but i've alway thought that canyon is absolutally beautiful. I hope to get down there sometime. Hopefully soon. The colors in your picture are amazing. What time of the day did you take it? the lighting is brilliant

Those are the actual colors with a bit of saturation. No more than can be done traditionaly.
