out of curiosity, you seem to like the retro style of sonic but why do you call robotnik egg man? even though that WAS his name to begin with the name dr. robotnik was always included in the retro style. plus egg man sounds kinda dum.

First of all, thanks for all of the comments, fav's and the watch!
I call him Eggman as that's who he is. Robotnik to me is the westernization of the character, through comics, cartoon series, or even localising the games themselves. After I found out his original name (playing Sonic Adventure in the late 90's, which I think was actually when Eggman was used in the west for the first time), it stuck.

i understand, yeah i know egg man was his original name and from what i heard someone in sega came up with the name robotnik so egg man wasnt used as much in the original sonic games.

you kinda have to wonder who would win if eggman put all his effort into outrunning sonic since most of his creations are simply meant to impede him (the critter filled ones) and the bosses are simply meant to keep up and destroy him. (and yet they're ahead all the time...)

This animation is quite beautiful, so smooth and fluent.
I love the animation of the characters too, such as Robotniks face when he yells to Sonic and is then startled.
