Name: Sasha
Age: 19 (Human years)
Gender: Female (she/her)
Sexuality: Straight
Role: Gatherer/hunter/self appointed explorer
Personality: She has a good heart, but she's really not a people person. Easily irritated, though hardly ever shows it, and becomes weary after long social interactions. She genuinely wants the best for her band, but finds it hard to connect with anybody beyond a superficial level. She has always felt she has a deep connection with nature, and loves all kinds of flora. An amateur cartographer, she enjoys exploring beyond her band's territory, and mapping what she finds, noting all the locations of various useful plants and landmarks. She's also quite witty and observant, though you wouldn't guess from her quiet front. She snaps easily under stress, especially of a social nature, and will retreat away from the community until she has sufficiently calmed herself. She would be immensely loyal to anybody who could win her friendship, though that has yet to really happen.

Backstory: Sasha was born in a large band to the two of the top hunters. Her parents were well known and well liked, as they brought back many of the band's meals. From an early age they began to teach her to stalk and hunt, which she picked up quickly. On her 10th birthday her mother gave her a knife fashioned from bone and wood (which she still carries) and began to let her venture out into the forest on her own. Over her many hours spent in the forest she discovered a love for flora of all kinds, and would help the gatherers run small errands. As she grew older she began to feel the pressure to live up to her parent's status as the main hunters, being frequently put in hunting patrols with the other adolescents. She didn't enjoy the competition of it and much preferred to wander at her own pace rather than traveling in a large group. To avoid this, she started to leave the band for longer and longer, eventually days at a time, usually returning with bags stuffed full of plants and skins. Her time spent at the camp, was usually taken by studying edible plants and useful herbs with the gatherers and healer, and attempting to make a map of what plants can be found where in their territory. Having been the first of her band to map out their territory, she is somewhat celebrated amongst her community, since her work has allowed much more efficient gathering. Though she still sometimes feels pressured into hunting, for the most part the band has accepted her roll.
