I'm still alive!Every time I do a composition like this it makes it painfully clear all the stylistic choices I've fallen into recently. It changes monthly. This time it's spiky mouthed monsters.
And they're all making the same expression WTF.

Your illustrations are always so dazzling; they always have this appearance of being three dimensional. You express such life and emotion in your designs and the designs are always so appealing (my goodness the shapes you use are gorgeous). I love it when your work pops up in my inbox! It's always so inspirational.

Every time you do a composition like this the imagination dazzles me. It's fun imagining stories to go with all the characters. The loose sketchy quality is really appealing to me. Your use of color is great, no mistake, but these have a kinetic, energetic feeling to them - even though they're just isolated poses - that would be flattened a little if they were smoothed and polished.

I absolutely agree that sketches are far more interesting to look at than a finished piece. Every time I view someones gallery sketches are the first things I look at. It's definitely easier picking an artists mind with them. Color can cover up so much!
