Decided to do a quickie on another one of my characters.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is Bruce Yamauchi. Before you say anything, yes, his name comes from Bruce Lee. XD

So, here's a little description. He's the grandson of an ex-military officer, he is recruited into M.A.G.I.C. because of his skills in martial arts, guerilla warfare and other reasons. His is 1/4 elf, from his late mother's father. He is currently being raised by his grandfather, who currently runs a dojo and a fish & sandwich shop. His father is Japanese, and also served in the military, having died in action in a reconnaissance mission in the Goblin Nation. His mother went missing shortly after begging her father in law to take care of him and his twin brother, Ben.

Bruce took to his grandfather's martial arts teachings quite well, having earned his brown belt in karate by the time he was 10. He originally used this skill to bully other kids, without the knowledge of his grandfather. He was finally taught a lesson in 10th grade when a nerd named Peter finally stood up to him. Peter challenged Bruce to a boxing match, and Bruce accepted, believing he would win easily against a scrawny shrimp. Peter surprised everyone by not only knocking out Bruce in the third round, but also giving him a black eye and giving him a concussion. At the hospital, Bruce finally admitted his guilt to his grandfather, who berated him for misusing his gift, and invited Peter to train with Bruce in the dojo. Peter politely declined, but told Bruce not to hurt anyone again. Bruce changed a lot since Peter KOed him. He trained harder and stopped bullying people, instead turning over a new leaf and fighting for charities instead. He decided to finally lend his skills to M.A.G.I.C. when he found out Peter was joining as well. Peter and Bruce are now currently best friends.

Bruce possesses a second degree black belt in karate, has an amazing skill with weapons and his flexibility is equal to that of a person who practices yoga moderately. He isn't as strong as Peter, but he has the skill to still give his friend a good fight. Because of his heritage, he became interested in training in the art of ninjas. He doesn't know everything, but he can still throw shuriken with moderate accuracy and can use nunchuks effectively. Because of his heritage, he can hone his body somewhat more easily than a full human can, his senses are more acute, and he has an innate accuracy with throwing objects.

Despite his heritage as part elf, he has no skill with magic, believing it to be the art of the lazy.

Bruce, as a result of being knocked out by Peter, is humble, but competitive. He doesn't talk as much when he fights, but he is still capable of engaging in playful banter when sparring with friends. Having been raised by his grandparents, he possesses a large respect for authority, but still has a small rebellious streak like his friend (his hair is more tame, but still not regulation length). He is the kind of guy who likes to go the extra mile, because he will become stronger in the end. He is straight as a line, as a result of his militant grandfather. He listens to orders easily and is not one to take the leadership role. He places a large amount of trust in authority, but is not above questioning it on occasion. His major flaw is his prejudice. Whenever something seems off about someone, he keeps them in that label. It takes a lot to win his trust, especially if you have a view that's different compared to his.

Aside from this, he enjoys fishing, watching movies, making his own smoothies, and is a ladies man. XD
