Still having fun with EDX's script~. I recently set up a nice ongoing B-plot for the other champions in the series: at first I thought I'd just make them relevant by having each of them interact with the main characters individually, but at some point I realized they could easily be a protagonist group by themselves. We've got a witty magician, an eccentric conspiracy theorist, and an ordinary high school girl; there are lots of fun character traits in there to mess around with~.

Also, I wanted to do a rough sketch of a secret eighth princess, whose existence these three are going to investigate. ^^ You might have guessed by now that each princess is named after a member of the Pleiades star cluster. In the beginning, every one of the brightest stars was represented by a character in the comic...except for one unnamed star, 18 Tauri. And I was like, "Hm...interesting. What can I do with this...?"

One of EDX's oldest inspirations is Rozen Maiden, so I liked the idea of having an unknown character that the main girls don't know anything about...like Kirakishou, 18T originated as more of a "concept" than a real mortal being, but through the power of sci-fi she becomes real in her own way. I'm looking forward to writing for her and figuring out how she's going to help shape the story. :9
