I wanted to do a parody with Brazil and Argentina because it's a really funny comparation! while brazilians have a really happy rithmycal music, the argentine tango is really melancholic and sad
what a contrast hahaI hope you like it! I wanted to do a different style, a bit more exagerated like the original picture. I can say I had a lot of fun sketching this on class, I didn't worry so much about anatomy so it didn't stress me out like all my drawings
The pictures of Rio de Janeiro and The obelisk were found on Google.

Ahh thanks Zu! I agree it's really exagerated, argenitinian folklore music is pretty nice and it's not sad at all for example. I think the 'sad' is because the tango music is (or used to be??) about romantic stuff and often about broken hearts, and I guess that became a general impression of the argentinian tangueros?? lol
As well as the super cheerful zamba and all he brazilian music, It's just an exagerated stereotype, but it's fun!

I don't think argentinian music is sad, lol, our folklore is pretty cheerful and nice, as well as national rock, reggae, and stuff. I think the "sadness" belongs more to the tango music,since it used to be about broken hearts and romantic stuff like that, but I don't think they're all sad, lol

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, es precioso!!!!! Supongo que al final eso del contraste es una gran verdad. Y es bastante divertido, también~! ...aunque se supone que eso es... bueno?... malo?... nosotros los ''tristes'' deberíamos estar halagados por eso? Me da la sensacion de libertad y diversion al mismo tiempo,seria muy interesante ver en algun futuro mas trabajos tuyos de esta indole

De hecho planeo seguir variando estilos aunque con hetalia predomine más el estilo himaruyesco, igual practico! creo que ver tantos artistas en tumblr me inspira
