Description This is Jumong, crown prince of Buyeo, drawing the bow his master made for him. Jumong itself means skilled archer.

The painting is based on two screen captures I took from the MBC drama of the same name Jumong : The Book of three Han.

I've been working on this painting for some time and I had great fun doing it. The original piece is 3552 x 2900 px, it is done on Photoshop and Painter both.

niiice. I remember seeing glimpse of it when my parents borrowed the drama or if we went to a Korean restaurant, they would play it. All I know is that Jumong is a Korean legend and that the MBC drama was REALLY popular.

not much of a historical drama fan (too much violence for me) but this pic rocks all!

Yeah it was really popular, and no wonder why.
The battles are violent, but the trials Jumong goes through are touching indeed.

At first, i thought the material looked like a kind of tissue-paper, but on closer inspection it is indeed of a heavier velvety or cotton material, so much so that i feel that i could almost grip it between my fingers.

It is obvious that you have an eye for all materials. I look forward to more of your stuff.
