Description
Zero is a sculpt I had on my mind for a long time. I finally sculpted him last year and I'm quite happy with how he turned out. I found out that, for me at least, it is a little challenging sculpting a doll that isn't meant to have a face.I'll be releasing him next month as a limited edition of 25 pieces and I have a feeling that there will be a mixed reaction to him
. After all this time I'm still nervous when I release any doll, especially one like Zero.

rofl i once made up a story about a faceless boy... with hair black as the night.. (it was meant to be turned in a comic.. and now i have seen this i will make sure that it happens.. thit gave me the inspiration i needed.. lovely work )
the story is kind of macabre though
its about aboy who is born without his face,.. and his mother (dokter) goes mental when she first lays eyes on him.. his dad..(also dokter) crazy in love with his wife does anything to support her.. even when she steels faces of other children...and even when he got his face... she isnt content yet.. and his parents keep slaugtering kids in the neighbourhood to make him the prettiest boy alive.. while he remains locked up in a cellar... surrounded by books..
in the end the police solves all the murders in the area by arresting his mom and dad...
and rescue him.. from that cellar..
he is the prettiest thing they had ever seen.. but when new murders start to happen they suspect him.. but somehow he manages to find the killer..
oh yeah he never learned how to talk..
so he couldnt report the murderer.. yet he did manage to taunt him in trying to kill him XD
he is really smart due to all the books XD
sorry for all this nonsense.. but your doll made me remember it all XD (i got a to big of an imagination.. wait till oyu here all of the other stories XD)

I've been lurking around waiting for pictures of the new tan resin on a doll, and then I saw this. I'm often a little weird, but I love this sculpt. Even my sister, who dislikes/is creeped out by most dolls, loves this. The fact that it's such a large doll (and I tend to only want tinies) and that it's going to be soooooo limited makes me a little sad. Such a wonderful doll, though. Congrats.

Oh so much potential! Faceless characters do well on the small and big screen, so why not a doll? In fact, the most famous and sought after faceless doll is the artist's aide to body proportions (you know, the one made out of wood?)

Oh wow, I think you did really well, it's almost like he has a piece of fabric pulled over his face that eliminated all the most important things of a face, the eyes and mouth, without making him all mannequin-like or bland.
