Alice again....again? I think this the character i have remade most often in my life.Seriously i would have though it would have been something a lot dorkier then this. Go figure.
Anyway Alice's design is simple enough and iconic enough that i don't think i have to go into it with too much detail.

I really love your choice as string for hair. Not only does it look good, but it adds a slightly old-timey feel to the doll. And the less edging is too cute.

i've always loved yarn hair on dolls.
Your right i use it for the old timey feel and look. Its just nice to be able to play with your dolls hair sometimes rather then have the felt.
