She is so cute. I really like her face - is that painted or embroidered?

its embroidered. Takes a bit of time but worth it as i don't trust my hands to keep steady with the paint brush.

Very cute look.
I was wondering, do you embroider the eyes with hand or are you using a special embroidery machine?

Wow by hand with so big eyes? I'm very impressed. I mean, I embroider the faces of my dolls, too, but am having a hard time to get it 'flat' as the fabric is stretchy. I should think about buying an embroidery hoop maybe, but normally I stuff the heads and then embroider the faces....

i normally stuff then embroider too but with this style i don't need to do that.
The flesh colored fabric is actually stretchy too but i interfaced before hand to make it less stretchy and more like cotton.

Its like making a wig. I did it in lines a little bit at a time to give it some volume.
I do the bangs first and help get there style with tacky glue.
