I love this doll, she's amazing, and they're usually called ballet boots, most often associated with bondage fetishy things, partially for shoe fetishes and partially because you cannot walk in them at all. But I love them too, I wish they were walkable, I mean, it would probably be easier to pull of the walking thing if you were practiced in pointe, but I don't know ^.^

I think they are just neat. I didn't really intend to have a fetish thing behind it but i wanted something dramatic and every time i saw those boots they were done in a very dramatic way.

The shoes are called Ballet Boots, they aren't actually worn to walk in; rather they are used for fetishes & are worshiped.

i first saw the shoes in the blue orcid video by the white strips and i loved them,
they were so twisted. The DA artists do such great things with them.

well i took the barbie feet concept and just worked it into cloth.
I originally just made pointed feet until i decided that i should switch it up

Next time you look at a barbie look at the shape of her leg and the way her feet are made.
they are always in a point. In essence i looked at how were shaped and made a way i could use that for a doll in my style. Instead of molded plastic i used cotton and fiber fill.

I believe the traditional shoes are called Pointe shoes, but I could be wrong *was never a dancer*

I thought of you the other day - I picked up a magazine called "Softies" that is one that they're going to publish 2x a year, and they're taking submissions for the next one - you should submit some of your dolls! They have techniques and tips with each of the submissions, to help people out, but it's a lot about showcasing the dolls
