This is a pretty sweet design. Β Love the design of the arms. An orangutan would make a very interesting design for a maverick/boss-battle. Something like Clown Man... but, you know, actually cool

Thanks! I thought it would be give him a lot of options with those freaky long arms orangutans have! He could definately hang from the ceiling and grapple with those things. They stretch too. I'll have to do a sketch of them sometime reaching, I imagine them going far, easily across a full screen.

Whatever you do, I'm sure it would be great! You have a lot of movement in your pictures, that's not easy to achieve.

Me either to tell the truth but I have seen multiple fan mavericks and nobody ever really uses apes so I did!

I haven't really seen many of the fan made Mavericks, but yeah... most of them opt for the weirder species. And IIRC, there are only like... 2 or something ape Mavericks in the main X series.
