Appearance
Physical Appearance: Maiden is a small and curvy young dragoness, built for the water and it's many challenges, and large and thick limbs such as her wide wings, heavy talons, and thick long tail. She is built with curvy horns and hooked talons and wing claws, with long flexible spines and fins on the end of her tail and running from her forehead to the base of her neck. Smaller more stiff spines run all down her back and end towards the middle of her tail. Her snout is thin and curvy of that of a Seawing, little catfish like whiskers in 3 pares lining her snout. She has no uniformed scale pattern, only a thin line of gills tracing down either side of her neck. Her scales are extremely soft and blubber like, but they're still scales. Her horns, spins, and claws are all ebony blue white.
Her main body color is in hues and shapes of shades of rich mud browns, with tiny swirls in the colors of bright light sky blue scattered all over neck and tail, running down her shoulders and back legs and wing arm. Diamond patterns in the same color cover her snout, forehead, shins, and forearms. Small bead like markings in this color run along under her eyes and over her ankles and wrists so it looks like shes constantly wearing jewelry. Her membrain and fins are colored with a darker richer brown, edged with a dim sky blue and then decorated with the lighter sky blue in spots. All of the markings on her body colored blue can glow up, but she can't quite control them, and they mainly flicker depending on her emotions
She DOES have a seal form (Her being a Silkie). It looks like a normal seal when she has the skin on.

Scars: None

Personal
General Personality: Bubbly and lighthearted with not a care in the world. Always sees the best in any dire situation, and she would sacrifice herself for her family in an instant. She has the grace and patience of a saint, although her wisdom and observation is extremely questionable, being so in her head with imagination she can constantly herself into danger. Always apologetic, always apologizing for something . Maiden always wants the best for everyone, she rarely has hateful or mean thoughts, always considering others and how they are feeling. Loves to have fun and do her own thing. Traveling all over the sea's, there's always something new to explore or stick her snout into- thus leading to her being extremely curious.
She's a helpless romantic. She loves to daydream about her future husband with at least 10 little dragonets running around crazy, (Although she's never been in a relationship because of her being a Silkie). Never seems to be tired or down, always full of energy and ready to jump into any sort of action. She will always be a child at heart, but this can lead to her not taking things seriously, always wanting to find the jokes in any situation.

Backstory
[TIME SET - 300 years after the Sandwing War and the discovery of the Pantalan Tribes]
Lady was a simple Mudwing, who lived with her elderly and nearly deaf Grandmother on the banks of the east Pyrrhian Sea in the middle class areas of the Mud Kingdom. She was a fisher girl who went out on daily fishing trips with another group of Mudwings to bring back fish for her town and the market to sell to the higher classes. And during the nights she would settle down with her grandmother and listen to her old tales. She was something of a Soothsayer, knew everything about everything, especially the lore of old about creatures below the waves. Lady loved to listen to her grandmother and her stories, and would often daydream about running into one of these creatures, one day.
Sealfin was a young Silkie lad who lived in a pod of his own, about seven big with his family of five and two friends. He was the eldest son of his siblings and would soon one day have to start a pod of his own with a woman of a different smaller tribe. He was part of a nomadic tribe, always keeping below the waves in his seal form in the oceans between the Pyrrhian Ice Kingdom and Pantalan Jungles. But of rare occasions the tribe would move to warmer waters where the fish were more plump, thus leading Sealfin and his family to the Mud Kingdom in the summer, where Lady was getting ready to go on another fishing trip with her group.
She found him taking off his seal like skin in the coral reefs, as if he was taking off shoes from a long day at work. It had been months since his last shedding and he was taking the time in the warm waters to relax. Lady was fascinated and could only do approach him with wonder as he was hiding his skin below a layer of sand and corals. Of course he swam, he swam with more speed than Lady could try for. Sealfin lost her in seconds ad she was left wondering. A month or too went by, she searched for him, distracted from her job as a fisher. She was rather clumsy and non-observant, which didn't help from the star, so it was actually easy for Sealfin himself to watch her. He strayed away from his tripe in the deeper coral reefs, following her as she searched the water high and low. And it wasn't until after the second month, Sealfin approached her with curiosity. Finally they saw each other eye to eye once more, and Lady sort of being the helpless romantic that she was fell for him in the most cliche sense. She wanted to be with him after a few weeks with him, even if she could only hold her breath for an our, she spent every second with him, her scales becoming soft from the amount of time she spent in the water when she was made for the fresh murky waters of the Marshes. They were in love, but he was leaving to go back to deeper waters soon and she couldn't bear him leaving. They wanted to get married because like, why not??
So, after much conversation, she convinced the Silkie to join her on land as his dragon form to talk with her Grandmother, who most likely knew where to find another Silkie skin. And well, she did. She told the couple of a skin up in the mountains of the Sky Kingdom not to far from where they stood. It would take a days flight there and back, and well, Lady did it with pleasure. She got the skin from under the large oak her Grandmother told her it would be under. After some more flight, she finally made it back home where she said her goodbyes to her Granny (Of course she would visit) and slipped into the water in her new seal form to be with her mans. Yay they live a happy life for two years before having eggies.

Lady and Sealfin parted from Sealfins tribe to start their own shortly after they became mates. They traveled the Seas together for some time, Sealfin showing Lady his world in their seal form, living in corals from time to time, or laying in the low tide beach areas to take some time to rest in their dratonic form. Two years later, Lady lays a large clutch of five eggs. There was one problem. They were still nomads, going wherever the current took them. However, Sealfin have a solution. His current tribe had a dragon on the east coast of Patnala, A Leafwing familiar with the Silkie and their culture. This Leafwings name was Hash, a plump old golden Leafwing who often took care of the eggs while the parents traveled. And on the plus side, they would air to breath once they were hatched, them being half Mudwing and Seal, born wrapped in their skin and the egg, air was the safest bet to breath first. So the couple left their precious eggs with Hash at a small town filled with trading nobles and merchants. Lady and Fin visited them regularly, about three times a week as they continued to travel the seas, waiting for the day when they would hatch.
It was about half way through the incubation when Lady and Fin were about to take their visit to the eggs. The couple shed their skin and hid it below the waves in a nearby canyon They swam happily towards the small town but came to a halt when they sighted a large ship floating in the shallows near the town. The sound of dragons screaming and hollering echoed below the waves, and before Lady and Fin could reach the surface, they were met with a large pale blue and Lavender Seawing, larger than Fin and Lady both, her teeth the size of knives and her eyes wild with violence. Fin flashed for Lady to swim, and she did, without a second thought, thinking he would follow. But he didn't. Lady could only hold her breath and watch from the canyon cliff in horror as the Seawing and Fin fought tooth and claw, bubbles surrounding them and soon blood. The large dragoness chased off the Silkie, who had earned a large bloody gash from his wings to his wings, and bran new holes on his right wing. All they could do was speed back to the trench and gather their skins and lie in wait.
It was two hours later when the ship pulled out to sea, and the two shed once again to quickly make it to he town above...only there was no town. The buildings and tents were nothing but ash, wood fallen on top of each other, burned corpses littering the ground as a gold coin and ruby train lead to the water from the Nobles homes up the beach. All that was left was burning embers and smoke rising into the clear night sky. In a panic, the couple raced on shore, scared and sorrowful and horrified at the scene they knew only pirates could leave behind. The flitted towards the shack where they left their eggs with the Leafwing. It was nothing but rubble and ash. With tears biting at their eyes, they moved the pillars and swept aside ash over the nursery, talons shaking to find Hash's burnt crisp body broken and black over a nest. They reluctantly shoved aside the body to only reveal a single gleaming brown and light blue swirled egg. Four of the other eggs were gone, not a single shell tracing the ashes. Lady sobbed over Hash's dead body and four missing eggs, cradling the last one before the couple retreated into the ocean for the last time. Maiden was born several months later.
---
Maiden lived her baby dragonet and dragonet years in the ocean in the deepest most brilliant caves in the west Pyrrhian sea. There was a system of large caves that glowed with worms and sea creatures and flowers like small oceanic suns in a deep trench. These caves acted like a safe haven for Silkies. Tribes of Silkies often came and went back from their travels only for a short rest before they escaped back into the world with their tribe. However, her small family of three stayed for until she turned four. Lady and Sealfin put all their love and effort into there only remaining child, and they swore to not try for another clutch of eggs until she came of age at ten when they knew she would be able to care for herself and they would be able to care for more kids. They loved her and spoiled her relentlessly, being naturally overprotective and cautious, but Maiden didn't mind. On the day after her fourth birthday, the family announced they would start traveling again, as it was the natural way of Silkie culture.
---
And the family did, they went out into the world, into the broader ocean, Lady and Sealfin showing their daughter the ropes of the ocean, how to ride the currents and how to fish the schools and defend herself from large predators when she was in seal form, such as sharks or orcas if she could change into her dratonic form fast enough. They showed her how to hide her skin well when she took it off, how to swim with a pod of dolphins and how to track their next meal. There were no rules in this small nomadic family, except one. Don't even go to the surface. No thinking about the surface, no touching dry land. Her parents still paranoid about the dangers of pirates, they stayed in the water for years on end, only getting as shallow as coral reefs for warmer water. But of course, this young adult wanted what she couldn't have, and her whole life changed when her helplessly romantic heart found the one ---> To be continued.
