Random idea I got today...and I really really wanted to colour something with water colours again.Time taken : 3,5 hours

That's a nice idea and I really like the color scheme you used. The grey background goes well with the characters. I can't help noticing the lion's nose tough. It looks like it's 3/4 view while the rest of the head is in profile.

Watched discovery channel apparently lions been known to run from hyenas.

This makes me smile in more ways than one. Hyenas are proven to have a higher kill success rate than lions and hunt more of their food than they scavenge, while lions (while still good hunters) actually scavenge from other animals more than hyenas. Beautiful coloring here as well!
