Description
This is the Asuran orbital beam turret from SGI. Not to be confused with the lagrangian satellite or gateship, of course. This is a smaller, more standard defense orbital. I'm not entirely sold on the colors, but I'll go with this for now.Related content

I love the way this looks; but I was wondering is the Asuran orbital beam turret the equivalent of the AG-3 satellite .

This design was actually featured as a satellite in the Atlantis show. I didn't realize that when I textured it, as I did things a bit differently than as shown there.

You're right that they are done in the textured, but in truth I didn't "draw" them. At least not by hand. But yes, I agree that it definitely needed something on the prongs/fins.
