I drew this hammer and sickle in class. Redrew it in Flash. Took hours actually. Looks simple, but fuck you.

The message? What the title says. I support the Commune of Computers. The Internet. The unadulterated flow of thought and imagination and the POTENTIAL there is in it.

Our digital world has forces of equality and freedom that far too few respect or defend. It's something to learn from. It's a stateless structure populated by people.

The corporations control the internet right now. If you're a Canadian all you need to think of is the new coming implementation of charging by download rate (like cell phones) starting with Shaw on February 1st. This is somewhat influenced by that recent development, but it was mostly just an interesting doodle that looked techy.

I believe, like most things, the internet needs to be nationalized. Physical structure of the internet needs to be int he hands of each and every individual. No one group or mass should ever have total control over the internet. No government and no corporation to censor the people's internet, the Commune of Computers. It needs to be available to all not only free of corporate bureaucracy, but also free of restrictions to access. It should be available everywhere, it should be anonymous, it should be free and equal in literally every aspect. It needs to be ours.

Can you imagine not having to deal with your crooked ISP? (Fuck you Bell, Telus, Shaw, etc.)
