This show is truly something great. I've been watching this show recently and honestly this show is one of the most well done pieces of animation I've seen in a long time. With other gems like Steven Universe, Star vs The Forces of Evil and Gravity Falls. This has to be in my top favorites list. I think the biggest appeal from this show comes from the relationship between the three brothers. It's really well done, they play off each other very well, the writing puts them in situations that tie into each of their personalities and interactions and uses it to its benefit perfectly!
I like all the characters on this show. It's hard to choose a favorite! ^^ However if I had to I would say I like Panda a bit more, Idk he's quirks and personality really just click with me a bit better. (Plus my Icon) Still Grizz and Ice Bear are both still very entertaining on their own merits. Another thing I like about this series is how it balances its plot, characters and situations very well and never forgets one over the other, it always feels like its on a steady flow. I like that a lot and it really sets the bar high for how well written this show is.
This show can even take failed ideas for plots and make them work to its advantage. Like "Burrito" for example. It could've easily turned out bad, but it makes what most shows would turn disgusting into a relatable piece of story. This show has it all, polish, character and writing. I defiantly recommend this show to anyone, it's simply a joy to watch.

to me we bare bears is a very underrated show thats always gonna be in the shadow of steven universe
and im gonna say this and i dont care how many people it pisses off i think we bare bears is better than steven universe YES I SAID IT COME AT ME BROS COME AT ME XD

At least you're not saying Teen Titans Go is better than Steven Universe, because I'm tired of TTG fanboys constantly saying that. And why the shadow of Steven Universe only? What about Teen Titans Go which is literally aired everyday.

You know, I really underestimated this show. I thought it was going to be another of "those" shows that would pander to the "young and edgy" crowd. Turns out the commercials and promos made me think this show was going to be mediocre, I had these same thoughts back when Gumball was about to hit the air back in 2011. Never judge a book by it's cover amirite?
I agree with every point you brought up in this review. It's been some time since I seen a cartoon I can genuinely sit down and enjoy (excluding Steven Universe and Regular Show, We Bare Bears being my favorite of the three).
Out the three brothers, Ice Bear is my favorite unsurprisingly because well... he is a badass... However, Grizz and Panda are interesting characters too. I relate to Ice Bear the most because he is usually mute and keeps to himself. I am sort of like that myself.
About the episodes, I say Burrito, Shush Ninjas, Chloe and Ice Bear, and Jean Jacket are my favorites, but I like Burrito a little better than the others because it took "To Love a Patty" from Spongebob and made it... work. Hell, they even made it emotional. That ending gave me chills down my spine (I won't spoil it here, I recommend this episode or Jean Jacket for new viewers).
I have yet to see any bad or mediocre episodes from the show. That's a great thing because the writers know what they are doing. The only thing I am worried about this show is the fandom becoming toxic and/or entering seasonal rot. But each of these issues are at bay.

I don't know. I'm really kinda on the fence. Like it's well animated and stuff. But I feel kinda like it's too mellow. I feel kinda the same way about Steven Universe, except that has action sequences and lore and a big cast of these gems to get invested in. With WBB you have Seth Rogen Bear (aka Grizzly Bear) Shy Panda character, and Meme Bear... I MEAN ICE BEAR! I feel like this show is really really trying to pander with memes and i don't know if I feel like it needs it. I don't think it's for me it's just too mellow.

Sometimes I feel mellowness can work. At times I feel it's cool to just just a show fellow very mellowly, Idk something about it seems nice to me.

Sometimes the mellowness is need to wash away the stench, much like how it's washing away the legacy of Johnny Test and Teen Titans Go...

Johnny Test airs reruns on Boomerang, sadly; as for Teen Titans Go, you can thank the youth and the people manipulating them for the success.
