'32 Ford Roadster Hot Rod with rust-brown paintjob.As always done with markers, pastels, coloured pencils and white gouache on A4 bristol smooth pad. It took about 10 - 12 hours to finish. The drawing didn't turn out as I expected; it's OK but not one of my best drawings.

ich bin vor fΓΌnf jahren hier ans ende der welt an den feldrand gezogen und habe mehr oder weniger meinen gesamten bekannten-/freundeskreis hinter mir gelassen... war arbeitslos und hatte viel zeit - dA war sozusagen meine "rettung"... hab ungeheuer viel inspiration, ermutigung und auch herausforderung gefunden, sehr interessante gesprΓ€che gefΓΌhrt, klasse geschichten hehΓΆrt und war erleichtert, dermaΓen viele nette, hilfsbereite leute zu treffen...
jetzt bin ich einerseits wieder in einer band und habe andererseits eine ausbildung laufen, deswegen finde ich leider kaum noch zeit hier aktiv zu werden... aber gut zu wissen, dass man sich einfach jederzeit wieder einklinken kann und zumindest glotzen, bis die augen trΓ€nen, haha...

How do you ace the roundness of the wheels? A problem for me; trying to deal with a '65 VW.

Yeah I know, I often had the same problem. Everytime I did a new drawing it was a huge challenge to draw nice and round wheels. But the then I bought ellipse templates (expensive as hell...); this was the first drawing I drew using those templates, they really help a lot...

Yeah you know I just recieved my ellipse templates when I was drawing this car. They are expensive as hell but they make it much easier to draw nice wheels...
