Description
As the southern most location just before the river, sits the colorful district of Al-Badhra. Themed after North African architecture, this district was formed when the city started the "Themed Districts Project" in the 1930s. The purpose of this project was to bring more foreign culture to the city and appreciation of people from around the world, allowing them to feel more welcomed. A night, Al-Badhra is spectacle of colors and culture that attracts vistors from miles around. A tourist district that continues to grow with a mixture of ancient Mughal style buildings and modern office space. Truly, one of the more unique distrcts in Panhard's history. The nearby Al-Faisaliyah district was established following the success of Al-Badhra.
