Description This is for ^brgtt 's Vector Treats: Challenge No. 5

This challenge was to do a piece using only ONE colour. I've used Pantone Orange 021C (with white as the background so the transparancies would show).

I've been wanting to do a prayer piece lately, probably because I've been doing a bit more of it myself recently for various reasons. I like the way this came out, though it was difficult staying with one colour...I kept wanting to add others

I don't know about you, but I like to see people with this kind of Faith, you know.

Not by going into church shows or things like this, but making the faith something closer, with a pure love of a child through the parents.

I love the composition of this. And the colour is very cool. I think monks use orange for their robes, if i remember correctly?
The lightning on the hair is very nice too. The only suggestion i would have, is the circle things, i think they take a little away from the simplisity of the piece.

Yes, you're right, monks do use orange for their robes, I hadn't thought of that, at least not consciously. Orange just seemed to be the 'right' colour for this for whatever reason
I added the circles/dust motes last on the piece...it just needed 'something' as I thought it was too plain otherwise..but maybe plain is OK sometimes too
